Solicits scholarly papers of academic and research nature on informing clients through authoring and publishing, with a special focus on the impact of information technology (IT).
Authoring and publishing are core activities in informing clients. Papers in this session will explore all aspects of authoring and publishing, and the role of information technologies in enhancing their efficacy in informing clients.
Potential areas include, but are not limited to:
Theories of human communication
Theories of authoring: fiction and non-fiction
Architectures and models for publishing using IT
Authoring models and their IT-based implementation
Research on author, publisher, and client experience
Novel technologies for enhancing authoring and publishing experience
