Delegate Registration


Delegates, please complete this  registration form below (so we make sure that know who you are). We will use this information to email your invoice to you.

Reductions
The basic conference fees is US $450. The following fee reductions reflect the vision that the conference is a cooperative effort. (For that reason, these reductions are not transferable.)

  • $50 Early Payment of Registration. Delegates who arrange for their conference registration fee to arrive by March 15 may take a US $50 discount.
     
  • $50 Authoring an accepted paper. Delegates who present their own paper(s) or other accepted presentation may take an additional US $50 reduction in conference fees. 
     
  • $25 Reviewers. Likewise, those who receive an email acknowledging their timely help as reviewers may take an additional US $25 reduction in their conference fee.

Therefore, for delegates who author a paper, served as a reviewer, and arrange for their conference fee payments to arrive by March 15, the conference registration fee is just US$325.

Free Spending Money
It pays to promote the conference among your colleagues. When delegates register, they can designate an individual who encouraged their attending the conference.  For each person who designates you, you will receive Aus$10  in spending money at the conference.

Add-On Fees

$50 Additional Paper Fee. There is an additional fee of US $50 if you author or present more than one paper. If your co-author (if any) is also a delegate and does not have another paper, this fee is waived.  The idea here is that the basic conference fee pays for publishing one paper per delegate.  (Essentially this means, since the conference has to arrange for your second paper, you don't get the US $50 author discount.)

$50 Optional Formatting Fee. We expect everyone to provide a properly formatted paper.  If you have more money than time, we can hire someone to format your paper for you, for a fee of US $50 per paper.

    including our useful list of abstracts with presentation times and locations

  • Coffee, tea & snack breaks
  • A welcome reception
  • A Banquet with live music

Cancellation and Refund Policy: Conference registration can be cancelled  for seven calendar days from the time of registration and receive a full refund.  After this time, there is no refund.  Your conference registration fee pays for the publication of your paper, your copy of the conference CD, printed material, and the right to attend the conference.  Should you not attend the conference in person, you may substitute another in your place or you may elect to have your conference materials, including CD, sent to you after the conference.

[The reason for these requirements is that we need to order and pay for printed material, formatting of papers, CD replication, and other items well in advance of the conference. The conference pays for these, whether or not you attend.] 

Delegates are responsible for obtaining their own visa, securing their own accommodations, and paying their own expenses. 

Do I need a visa to visit Australia?
YES!  Unless you live in Australia, you will need a Short Stay Business visa.  If you hold a passport from certain countries, you can obtain a free electronic visa, as explained here. (Free means A$20 if you obtain it via the Internet, but it may be available free to you through your airline.)  If you do not qualify for an electronic visa, click here.
